The Marist War Eagles soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting North Springs Spartans to 0 in the War Eagles league victory on Friday.
The War Eagles now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Lithonia for a 4A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, March 4. Marist will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, North Springs moves to 0-5 on the year. The Spartans host Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA) to encounter the Red Devils in a 4A Area 5 bout on Wednesday, March 5. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Druid Hills won 10-0 in their recent league bout against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA)
