Fans at Friday's league battle between the Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) and the visiting Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA), saw Northside's soccer squad triumph over Mundy's Mill by a score of 5-0.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Troup County tipped Central (Carrollton, GA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) in a 4A Area 3 battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Mundy's Mill will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Ola (McDonough, GA).
