Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) and the host Osborne Cardinals (Marietta, GA), saw River Ridge's soccer squad knock off Osborne by a count of 2-0.
The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs enter the 5A Area 6 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Sequoyah by Allatoona (Acworth, GA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Cardinals battle the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Osborne will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA).
