Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA) and the visiting Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA), saw Paulding County's soccer squad hold off Rockmart by a count of 5-4.

The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Mt. Zion was edged by Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) in a 2A Area 7 battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Rockmart will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Phoenix enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA).
