Texas High School Softball - Lake Creek bounces Alvin

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Lake Creek Lions softball team scored a nice 16-6 victory over the Alvin Yellowjackets.
The Lions (12-0) will now prepare for their match against Dayton (Dayton, TX). The Broncos go into the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Dayton was routed by North Shore (Houston, TX), 5-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the South Houston Trojans (South Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 match, on Friday, February 28. Alvin will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Trojans go into the match with a 0-6 record after their 31-15 league loss to Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX).
