The Lone Oak Buffaloes softball squad (Lone Oak, TX), was routed 5-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX)
With the triumph, Blue Ridge improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Gunter (Gunter, TX) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 11 contest on Friday, March 7. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 11-7.
The Buffaloes now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Lindsay for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 1. Lone Oak will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Celeste (Celeste, TX). The Knights record now stands at 6-5.
