California High School Softball - Valencia sneaks past Buena

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Valencia Vikings softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Buena Bulldogs.

The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Moorpark (Moorpark, CA). The Musketeers come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Moorpark nipped Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA), 24-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA) in a Channel match, on Tuesday, March 4. Buena will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Righetti (Santa Maria, CA).
