In Friday's non-league test, the Holtville Bulldogs (Deatsville, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL), by a tally of 16-0.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 28. Holtville will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Rebels go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL).

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Headland (Headland, AL). The Rams go into the 5A Area 4 test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Headland was routed by Houston Academy (Dothan, AL), 11-0, in a league test.
