In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Graham Steers softball team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Childress Bobcats.

The Steers (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Petrolia (Petrolia, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Petrolia was routed by Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), 9-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 28. Childress will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX).
