The Memorial Mustangs softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Clear Brook Wolverines to 6 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cy-Fair for a 6A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, March 4. Memorial will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Willis (Willis, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Clear Brook moves to 3-5 on the season. The Wolverines host Clear Springs (League City, TX) to confront the Chargers in a 6A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Chargers come into the battle with a record of 7-2. Clear Springs won 7-3 in their recent non-league battle against Summer Creek (Houston, TX)
