Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX), 3-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Fossil Ridge improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Granbury (Granbury, TX) to play the Pirates in a 5A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, March 4. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 2-7. Granbury lost 11-3 in their recent non-league game against Midlothian (Midlothian, TX)

The Lobos now have a 17-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saginaw for a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. Levelland will clash with a Rough Riders team coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Godley (Godley, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 2-7.
