The Venus Bulldogs softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting International Leadership of Texas Keller Eagles to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennedale for a battle on Monday, March 3. Venus will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 6-6 non-league North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, International Leadership of Texas Keller moves to 0-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 3-11. Castleberry lost 10-2 in their recent non-league battle against Godley (Godley, TX)
