In Friday's non-league test, the Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Jurupa Hills Spartans (Fontana, CA), by a tally of 10-5.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Santa Monica will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Arrowhead Christian (Redlands, CA).

The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record.
