The Killeen Kangaroos softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Tyler Lions to 11 in the Kangaroos non-league win on Friday.

The Kangaroos now possess a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Troup for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. Killeen will confront a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Tyler moves to 1-8 on the season. The Lions host Troup (Troup, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 8-4. Troup lost 5-4 in their recent non-league battle against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX)
