Texas High School Softball - Lamar defeated by South Hills

The Lamar Vikings softball squad (Arlington, TX), was routed 8-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX)

With the triumph, South Hills improves its record to 5-10 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Duncanville (Duncanville, TX) to face the Panthers and Pantherettes in a non-league contest on Friday, February 28. The Panthers and Pantherettes enter the contest with a record of 5-2. Duncanville won 15-6 in their recent non-league contest against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX)

The Vikings now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pinkston for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 1. Lamar will face a Vikings squad coming off a 19-1 non-league loss to Ferris (Ferris, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 1-7.
