In Friday's non-league match, the host London Pirates softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Los Fresnos Falcons.
The Pirates (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Ray (Corpus Christi, TX). The Texans come into the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Ray nipped Raymondville (Raymondville, TX), 8-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 1. Los Fresnos will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Buccaneers come into the match with a 6-5 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX).
