The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX) and the visiting Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), observed Stephenville's softball team get by Lubbock by a tally of 10-3.

The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Side (Fort Worth, TX). The Steers go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, North Side was routed by Decatur (Decatur, TX), 18-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Westerners clash with the Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Lubbock will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Muenster (Muenster, TX).
