In Friday's non-league match, the host Montwood Rams softball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the San Elizario Eagles.

The Rams (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Americas (El Paso, TX). The Trail Blazers go into the non-league match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, Americas gained a win over Fabens (Fabens, TX), 20-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 28. San Elizario will attempt to better on its 3-14 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the match with a 5-12 record after their 17-9 non-league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
