Texas High School Softball - New Deal topped by Muleshoe

Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX), 16-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Muleshoe improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Mules travel to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX) to play the Broncos in a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 2-1.

The Lions now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Petersburg for a 1A Region I District 3 game on Monday, March 3. New Deal will play a Buffaloes squad coming off a 16-8 league loss to Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 0-7.
