California High School Softball - Novato Salesian College Preparatory

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Novato Hornets softball team scored a tight 7-4 win over the Salesian College Preparatory Pride.

The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Pinole Valley nipped Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA), 14-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Pride battle the Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, March 5. Salesian College Preparatory will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Mariners come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA).
