Mississippi High School Baseball - Hernando loses to Jackson Prep

Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), 17-14 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Jackson Prep advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Patriots host Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS) to battle the Raiders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 3. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 6-2. Jackson Academy won 5-1 in their recent non-league outing against Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS)

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS). The Golden Wave come into the 7A Region 1 outing with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Tupelo by Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS), 19-9, in a non-league outing.
