California High School Baseball - St. Augustine loses to Pacifica

The St. Augustine Saints baseball team (San Diego, CA), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA)

With the triumph, Pacifica moves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Mariners travel to El Modena (Orange, CA) to confront the Vanguards in a Freeway contest on Friday, March 6. The Vanguards come into the contest with a record of 4-1.

The Saints now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De La Salle for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 5. St. Augustine will face a Spartans team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
