California High School Softball - Paramount edges Arroyo

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Paramount Pirates softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Arroyo Knights.

The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Falcons come into the match with a 2-0 record.

Next, the Knights play the Northview Vikings (Covina, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 28. Arroyo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Whittier (Whittier, CA).
