Alabama High School Softball - Bob Jones gets by Central

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) and the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), saw Bob Jones's softball squad nip Central by a score of 8-7.

With the triumph, Bob Jones improves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Patriots host East Limestone (Athens, AL) to face the Indians in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 28. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 1-0.

The Wildcats now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilson for a 4A Area 14 bout on Tuesday, March 3. Central will battle a Warriors team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Rogers (Florence, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
