Texas High School Softball - Poth bounces Holy Cross

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) and the host Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX), observed Poth's softball team get by Holy Cross by a score of 6-0.

With the triumph, Poth improves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Pirates travel to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to face the Mules in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 28. The Mules enter the contest with a record of 6-9. Alamo Heights won 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against IDEA South Flores (San Antonio, TX)

The Knights now hold a 20-4 record. They play next when they travel to John F. Kennedy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 3. Holy Cross will face a Rockets squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Cole (San Antonio, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 4-6.
