Texas High School Softball - Sinton edges LEE

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) and the host LEE Volunteers (San Antonio, TX), saw Sinton's softball squad nip LEE by a score of 7-5.

With the triumph, Sinton improves its record to 9-10 on the year. The Pirates travel to San Diego (San Diego, TX) to face the Vaqueros in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 28. The Vaqueros enter the contest with a record of 1-5. San Diego lost 6-5 in their recent non-league contest against Ingleside (Ingleside, TX)

The Volunteers now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Clark for a 6A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, March 3.
