The Stanton Buffaloes overwhelmed the host Plainview Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 11-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes meet the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 28. Stanton will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Owls come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Miles (Miles, TX).

With the loss, Plainview moves to 2-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to encounter the Sandies in a 5A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, March 3. The Sandies come into the battle with a record of 8-5. Amarillo won 20-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bowie (Bowie, TX)
