Texas High School Baseball - Alice gets by Vela

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) and the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX), saw Alice's baseball squad beat Vela by a margin of 5-3.

Coming up next, the Coyotes play the Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 29. Alice will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Milby (Houston, TX).

The Sabercats now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Antonio HomeSchool for a non-league battle on Friday, March 1. Vela will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 21-1 non-league loss to Navarro (Geronimo, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-5.
