Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) and the visiting Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX), saw Anahuac's baseball squad beat Evadale by a margin of 4-2.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 2. Anahuac will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX).

The Rebels now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kirbyville for a non-league battle on Friday, March 1. Evadale will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over West Fork (Kingwood, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
