The Draughn Wildcats the visiting Ashe County Huskies baseball team by a count of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Patton for a non-league bout on Monday, March 4. Draughn will face a Panthers team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

Next, the Huskies face the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 5. Ashe County will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
