Coming up next, the Cardinals play the West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 1. East Surry will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC).

The Hornets now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Thomasville for a Central Carolina 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, March 12.
