The Navasota Rattlers crushed the host Non Varsity Tournament Opponent baseball team by a count of 13-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Rattlers now possess a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wharton for a 4A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, March 5. Navasota will face a Tigers team coming off a 13-4 non-league loss to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
Next, the face the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 1. Non Varsity Tournament Opponent will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Sparks (Sparks, NV).
