The Laurel Spartans basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Blair Blazers to 65 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 5. Laurel will battle a Gladiators team coming off a 45-41 non-league win over Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Gladiators record now stands at 9-14.

This game is a part of the 2024 MPSSAA Boys Basketball State Championships (Maryland) - Class 4A tournament
