In Thursday's non-league outing, the Kirkwood Pioneers (Kirkwood, MO) basketball squad beat the host Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO), by a count of 58-47.
The Pioneers (15-10) will now prepare for their outing against Marquette (Chesterfield, MO). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 13-13 record. In their last outing, Marquette defeated Parkway South (Manchester, MO), 53-31, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now hold a 2-7 record.
