Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Trinity Christian Crusaders (Dublin, GA), 47-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Briarwood Academy improves its record to 24-4 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 20-9. Piedmont Academy won 53-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA)
