Lake Mary Rams (Lake Mary, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Apopka Blue Darters (Apopka, FL), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Rams now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seminole for a challenge on Tuesday, March 26.

With the loss, Apopka falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue darters host Lake Nona (Orlando, FL) to face the Lions in a challenge on Friday, March 1. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Lake Nona won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Winter Park (Winter Park, FL)
