The Ajo Red Raiders softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Thunderbird Adventist Academy to 3 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Ajo improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to Tohono O'Odham (Sells, AZ) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 5. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the clash with the Sequoia Charter Stallions (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 4. Thunderbird Adventist Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Stallions come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 22-4 non-league win over Imagine Prep Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ).
