The Kinder Yellowjackets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Alexandria Trojans to 9 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Kinder improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Iota (Iota, LA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, March 2. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 6-2. Iota won 14-13 in their recent non-league game against Rayne (Rayne, LA)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Jena Giants (Jena, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 1. Alexandria will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Giants come into the game with a 4-4 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Monterey (Monterey, LA).
