The Berry Cardinal softball team scored 25 runs and limited the visiting Garinger Wildcats to 6 in the Cardinal non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Berry improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cardinal travel to Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC) to clash with the Ravens in a non-league game on Monday, March 4. The Ravens come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 4A game, on Friday, March 8. Garinger will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
