The Burnet Bulldogs routed the host Junction Eagles softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Fighting Owls go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Anderson-Shiro topped Giddings (Giddings, TX), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Brownwood for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 29. Junction will meet a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-5.
