The Panthers now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Hill for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Caney Creek will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Odem (Odem, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Chaparral falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Palmview (La Joya, TX) to battle the Lobos in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. The Lobos enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Palmview won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX)
