The Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), 55-45 in Thursday's league test.
The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Bulldogs go into the Southwest test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Bunnell notched a victory over Foran (Milford, CT), 52-49, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brookfield for a Southwest test on Monday, February 7. Joel Barlow will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 51-40 league win over Weston (Weston, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-8.
