In Thursday's non-league match, the host Rockford Warriors basketball team scored a good 54-46 triumph over the Riceville Wildcats.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a Corn Bowl match, on Friday, February 4. Rockford will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record.
With the defeat, Riceville moves to 8-11 on the year.
