Ayersville Pilots (Defiance, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Edgerton Bulldogs (Edgerton, OH), 43-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Ayersville upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Pilots host Stryker (Stryker, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Stryker won 60-17 in their recent league bout against Hilltop (West Unity, OH)

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 6. Edgerton will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Blazers enter the game with a 6-9 record after their 66-21 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, IN).
