The Benedictine Bengals (Cleveland, OH) basketball nipped the host University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH), 62-58 in Friday's league test.
The Bengals (6-13) will now prepare for their test against John Adams (Cleveland, OH). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, John Adams was tipped by Rhodes (Cleveland, OH), 66-54, in a league test.
The Preppers now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. University School will encounter a Beavers squad coming off a 80-55 league win over Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 13-3.
