Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders (Spruce Pine, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting The Franklin School of Innovation Thunderbolts (Asheville, NC), 48-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bethel Christian Academy upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Heritage Christian (Hudson, NC) to play the Eagles in a CSAA bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Heritage Christian lost 67-54 in their recent league bout against Mountain View Christian Academy (Cowpens, SC)
