The Bethlehem Central Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Columbia Blue Devils to 45 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shenendehowa for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest on Tuesday, February 7. Bethlehem Central will battle a Plainsmen team coming off a 61-47 non-league loss to Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 6-10.

The Blue Devils (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Flying Dutchman come into the non-league contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Guilderland was defeated by Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY), 61-50, in a non-league contest.
