Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA), 85-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Beverly upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Catholic Memorial won 71-62 in their recent league bout against Boston College High (Boston, MA)

Next up, the Big Blue play the North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Swampscott will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
