Maryland High School Basketball - Blake tipped by Whitman

The Whitman Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Blake Bengals to 51 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Whitman will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 79-71 non-league win over Blair (Silver Spring, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-6.

The Bengals (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Coyotes enter the Montgomery 4A West contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Clarksburg was nudged by Churchill (Potomac, MD), 72-45, in a league contest.
