In Friday's non-league outing, the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN), by a margin of 84-76.

The Awesome Blossoms (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN). The Cardinals go into the AA Section 1 outing with a 8-9 record.

The Buccaneers now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-49 non-league loss to Triton (Dodge Center, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-9.
